POV: you just made a delicious strawberry matcha latte

πŸ“πŸ’š Strawberry season is here, and that means one thing: we’re making everything pink and delicious.

And obviously, that also means adding it to my matcha. I swear this strawberry matcha latte is so yummy and aesthetic it deserves its own photoshoot. This isn’t just another matcha tea recipe; it’s the ultimate duo of sweet, fruity strawberries and smooth, earthy matcha green tea. A match made in heaven.

Not only does it taste like a dream, but it looks like one too. And who doesn’t like a fun little drink for your morning? Or as your midday pick-me-up? And let’s not forget the beautiful masterpiece to post on your Insta or TikTok? I meaaaaan…

So whether you're in your soft girl era, embracing those cottage coreΒ vibes, or just need a delicious caffeine fix, this matcha green tea latte has you covered.

What you’ll need

  • ΒΎ cup oat milk (or your fave milk, you do you!)

  • 4 fresh strawberries

  • 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup, or your go-to sweetener)

  • 1 scoop Matcha DNA organic matcha powder (the best matcha powder, non-biased opinion at all πŸ™„)

  • 2 oz hot water (but not boiling!)

  • Ice cubes (because, let’s face it, nothing beats an iced matcha latte)

How to make it

πŸ’‘ Pro tip: Make the strawberry matcha latte in your cutest clear glass to show off those gorgeous layers. And why not add a cute straw while you’re at it?

  1. Mash those strawberries: Add the strawberries and honey to your glass, and use a muddler (or the back of a spoon) to crush them into a purΓ©e. You can also use a blender if you don’t have a muddler, or if you want it ultra-smooth.

  2. Ice ice baby: Add in some ice cubes to the glass and pour in your milk.

  3. Add in the matcha magic: In a separate bowl, whisk the matcha tea powder with 2 oz hot water (not boiling! We don’t want to burn the matcha, girl). Whisk until it’s frothy and smooth.

  4. Pour, sip, and slay: Slowly pour the matcha tea over the milk and watch the layers form (here’s where you pause and take a moment to appreciate how pretty it iiiis!). Give it a mix, take a sip, and enjoy!
