Avocado matcha face mask, your skin’s new bestie

Avocado matcha face mask, your skin’s new bestie

Matcha + avocado = your skin’s glow-up duo

Okay, you might be asking yourself: this girl has another matcha facial mask? Yep, I do. This matcha face mask universe is way too big, and I keep finding new recipes to try, so you’ll be seeing a lot of it. Sorry not sorry! I mean, I’m giving you plenty of ideas to take your skincare game up a notch, so don’t get complaining.

This time, this one comes with avocado, aka the glow-up fruit, and matcha (duh), your daily energy booster turned skin BFF. Together, they’re basically the skincare equivalent of a power couple.

Forget complicated 15-step routines and products that you have no clue what is in them. This DIY mask is super easy to make, with very simple ingredients, and all about hydration, revitalization, and self-care that doubles as content creation. Because let’s be real: if you’re not snapping a green-faced selfie, then what even is the point?

You know this already, skincare shouldn’t just be functional. It should be fun, aesthetic, and totally shareable. This mask nails all three. Let’s go!

Ingredients & why they slay

Just three superstars that will bring hydration, antioxidants, and lightweight moisture. This is what you’ll need to make your face mask:

  • ½ avocado
Packed with healthy fats and vitamin E, it serves hydration and plumpness. Like we needed any more reasons to love it.

  • 1 tbsp Matcha DNA organic matcha powder
This is (hopefully) no news. Matcha is super rich in antioxidants that fight dullness and calm redness. Plus, you get that aesthetic green that simply makes it so much better.

  • 1 tbsp grapeseed oil
It’s rich in vitamin E and is known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. You get lightweight moisture and also get the vitamin E and C in your skin to be more efficient at taking care of your skin.

✨ Aka the holy trinity of glow, if you ask me.

How to make your avocado matcha mask (step-by-step)

No crazy steps or chemistry class vibes. Here are the instructions:

  1. In a clean bowl, mash the ½ avocado until smooth. Doing this makes me automatically crave guac, anyone else? 🙄 Yup, saving the other half for some of that.

  2. Add the Matcha DNA matcha tea powder and the grapeseed oil.

  3. Mix until it becomes a creamy green paste. Again, it might look like guac, but don’t eat it. Just make yourself some later.

  4. Apply evenly to your previously washed face. This is your moment to take a cute and silly selfie 📸.

  5. Leave on for 15 minutes while you scroll TikTok, sip a latte made with the best matcha powder (Matcha DNA, obviously), or make your actual guac.

  6. Once the time has passed, rinse with lukewarm water and finish off with your usual skincare routine. Say hello to that refreshed complexion!!

Glow, post, repeat

So here’s the cheat sheet:

  • Avocado = hydration

  • Matcha = antioxidant boost

  • Grapeseed oil = moisture shield

That’s it. Three ingredients, one bowl, and 15 minutes to skin that looks and feels alive again.
