Another day, another matcha facial mask

Another day, another matcha facial mask

Okay, listen: I’ve shown like a thousand face masks with matcha already in this blog, but I’m not even close to finished. Ready for more? Yup, that’s right. Another day, another matcha facial mask.

This time, I’m leveling up by adding two key ingredients: aloe vera and tea tree oil. Yes, I’m making a matcha aloe vera face mask. Whether you’ve been riding the matcha wave for a while or you’re just getting started, this mask is a complete game-changer for your skincare routine. Plus, it’s packed with antioxidants, hydration, and acne-fighting properties to keep you glowing, naturally.

Why aloe vera is incredible for your skin (especially in the summer)

Aloe vera is like that secret weapon in your skincare routine you didn’t know you needed. It’s 100% natural, hydrating, soothing, and packed with nutrients that help cool down irritated skin. And in the summer, aloe vera is especially your BFF. Think about it, whether you’ve been basking in the sun a little too long or need a quick refresh after a workout, your skin can use some extra hydration. And trust me, it’ll feel amazing.

Ingredients you’ll need

Not many things needed, and quite easy to find:

  • 1 tsp Matcha DNA matcha powder
Don’t have it yet? Go get it ASAP! Our matcha is perfect for these DIY projects, packed with antioxidants to fight free radicals and give your skin a serious refresh

  • 1 tbsp aloe vera gel
The ultimate hydrator, as I just said. It soothes and cools your skin, leaving it soft, calm, and dewy. Perfect for battling inflammation and treating acne, too

  • 2-3 drops tea tree essential oil
Tea tree oil is your go-to for acne-fighting. It helps reduce inflammation, kill bacteria, and keep your skin feeling fresh and clear

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Mix it up: In a bowl, combine your matcha powder with 1 tbsp aloe vera gel. Stir until it forms a smooth paste. It’s okay if it’s a bit thick, you want it to stay put once you apply it to your face.

  2. Add that tea tree: Drop in 2-3 drops of tea tree essential oil. This will help clear up acne and keep your skin feeling fresh.

  3. Apply & relax: That’s it girl, you have it ready! Now, apply the paste evenly across your face using your fingers or a brush, paying extra attention to acne-prone areas. Set a timer for 15 minutes, and sit back while the mask works its wonders.

  4. Rinse & glow: Once the 15 minutes pass by, simply rinse off with cool water and pat your skin dry. The results? Dewy, refreshed skin that’s glowing like you just walked out of a spa.
