POV: you just made the best post-workout matcha smoothie

POV: you just made the best post-workout matcha smoothie

I’m in my fit-girl era, so I’m really trying to eat healthy and get all my protein intake after a workout. So the other day, after going out for a run (I’m still learning to like that, tbh), I was craving a yummy post-workout smoothie. Like those you see on your fyp that make you think damn, I should start working out. And I thought to myself: what if I put matcha in it? Can’t be bad, right? So without any idea of what I was doing, half-expecting to create a monstrosity, this happened: the creamiest, dreamiest, most energizing banana matcha smoothie ever.

Like, if a smoothie could have main character energy, this would be it.

It’s easy AF to make, packed with protein + matcha magic, and perfect for post-workout recovery or when you just need a delicious energy boost. Oh, and did I mention it looks insanely aesthetic? Your camera roll is about to get fed.

What you need:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tsp Matcha DNA matcha powder (best matcha powder for that smooth, sweet flavor. no cap.)
  • ½ cup milk of choice (my fave is almond milk, but you do you)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (gainsss, duh)
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, but makes it next-level good)
  • Handful of ice (refreshing AF)

How to make it:

Honestly, the shortest recipe you’ll find.

  1. Throw everything into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth & creamy.
  3. Pour into your cutest glass (super important step!!) and enjoy ⟡ ݁₊

That’s it. Literally foolproof. I frikin’ love smoothies. Like, you got no excuse to not try this out? (And no, no need to do it after a workout. I’m gonna start having this as my breakfast).
